You could probably produce a pretty good similarity to the way the Necronomicon should be if you were to coat all of its pages in some sort of nasty hallucinagenic drug that absorbed through peoples skin...

After you did that, all you would really need to do is paste a picture of Janet Reno on the first page, (maybe with a few tentacles added), and people would probably have all sorts of psychoses popping up.

Thats too unnatural... I don't think anyone should be submitted under the inhuman horror of having to see Janet Reno with extra tentacles. The last I saw she had three already, were there not?

Speaking of long descriptions, I once had a photograph on that mud that someone took of several high levels beating on some super creature. The description on that picture was so long that everytime I looked at it, CthulhuMud would choak and kick me off.

Some people say that the nec is a journal of the mad arab? an some say its quotations of his journey through the outer gate?
So many discrepencies and so little knowledge of proof, make the nec what it is today. If anyone has any info on my quest for original material. Please email me at topsmoker69@hotmail.com
Much appreciated

While your opinion of its existence is your own decision, did you not read the first post on this topic?

Lovecraft himself invented it. Find authentic proof that there was ever any mention whatsoever of the Necronomicon before Lovecraft wrote about it, and then we can talk :)

Concerning Necronomicon

Post by saruman9815 »

Necronomicon is a fraud! 1)I have downloaded from the internet each and every published version of it as e-books... 2)I am an occult lore researcher and quite coincidentally, i own a large selection of books that are grimmoires, so i easily understood the deception. You know, grimmoires have all of them some common characteristics, especially those containing rituals and spells... These are but are not limited to: a)They have been published and/or distributed by generally known heretic cults, like those of Kabalah, gnosis, gnosticism, satanism, WICCA, MASONRY...Oh yes, masonry is really DEEPLY and dirtily involved into satanic rituals, pagan worshipping, orgies etc (check the secret rituals of ordo templis orientis by Francis King, who was one of their brethren), tantra, yoga (honestly, people having formed teams of social and ideological interaction with masses, who tend to become known as having nothing to do with religion affairs, are trully the most successful liars this world has ever known), the hermetic order of the golden dawn (alchemists) etc. You can always check these over the internet and see for yourselves who is who and what they are doing. b)These books were written by or mostly based upon the work of famous people like Aleister Crowley and John Dee (most of them were even masons, Aleister Crowley is even being guided by them and highly respected by their ranks in some juicy letters i also poccess in e-form). c)They are ALWAYS written in one language and necessarily without spelling errors, some versions of Necronomicon were full of. d)The deities listed in all of them are always (fallen) angels, like in Goetia:lesser keys of Solomon and the greater keys of Solomon, while all the incantations including gods ALWAYS refer to the Egyptian Pantheon only. The only exception is Kabalah 's system. And the alchemists' of the Golden Dawn. e)You can usually find, provided that you know where to search, historic refferences about a certain tome or even visually access the original one. Some certain books were announced throughout history as forbidden, mostly during the Inquisition, and people (at least in my country) asking a bookstore to sell them a forbidden tome usually gets them in deep trouble with police, law and authorities. (But as everyone can truthfully guess, under the tables laws are bought and sold, that 's why always evil activities like drug/gun/woman prostitution can never shut down for good. And every money-loaded maniac can manipulate law according to his/her apetites.) 3)Grimmoires are NEVER distributed to people outside the coven, in case you want to get them legally. There are even some schools where occultism is taught and promoted like the Arcane School, Schools of Theosofy, Esoterism and new world order institutes totally hidden under names indicating philosophic research! On top of that, cults usually pick up followers from universities (Yale and Michigan are only 2 places of masonic influence, where atheism is promoted to the newly initiated people of their "underground" communities when they first "recruit" them). 4)And finally, you can never expect a forbidden tome to become a well known subject for public knowledge... These secrets, like masonic devilries and diableries, are heavily guarded and most of those who learn things "not meant to become public knowledge", they end up dead or missing (actually, Lovecraft was not entirely inventing things...There are lots of strange forces at work out there). 5)Fortunately, if someone knows how to evaluate info, internet can become a reliable source. It contains everything...Fraud and truths alike...You only have to know WHAT to search for and W H E R E. That 's all i wanted to say. Thanks for your patience and time.Hope i helped. saruman9815.hotmail.com
