I could have gone my entire life without knowing about this and been happy. But now I'm going to imagine them on me and loose my sanity even more.

My condolences also Dec, hopefully they'll find a cure soon, or at the very least they'll grow to be 10 feet long and controlable.

That's just it, according to the limited published lab journals, the material the "tentacles" consist of is biomass, but nothing but glucose or cellulose. Also, no known pathogenic cause has been, or seems can be as yet, identified.

Deer ticks? I mean really. (I've never actually seen a tick where I live now, so who knows.)
