Hm, wasn't that quote from the episode of Danger Mouse in which Penfold suffered multiple stab wounds and then was tossed into a giant meat grinder?

Do they play Danger Mouse where you are Adrian? I havn't seen that show on the air since I was maybe in elementary school.

I have not heard any references to it either! ;)

More like the one where he and Penfold are sent to recover some amulet.

They played like six years ago when I was in elementary school but I never forgot how great they were and downloaded some episodes on WinMX. Angry Beavers, The Simpsons and Danger Mouse would be in my top 3 list of cartoons then 8)

Recently completed a short story titled "The Enemy Within", which was told to have a lovecraftian feel. The plot involves a run-down town with its own abandoned chemical plant thats polluting the waters. Soon a local man starts feeling ill after eating fish caught from those very waters. The end result is quite gruesome and sickening, I'm afraid.

A new poem of mine is now up with my other creations. Written years ago it is how Nyarlathothep annihilates Mankind. It is a bit lame but I hope someone likes it :P

I like "The Enemy Within", however, I wasn't clear on one point. Was the main character actually infected by something that looked alot like a garden hose?

"Father Dagon" saw the printing press for the first time as it got published in an anthology honoring the pulp-fiction tradition. Am most proud 8)

I liked your new piece - very bleak.

I thought it was a strange coincidence that both of our stories that were posted featured characters with drug addictions.

Your story reminded me of Clark Ashton Smith's "Return Of The Sorceror".

I don't have any experiences with drugs, I just thought it would be a new approach. Strange that you wrote a story with that theme too :D

I just went and read Return of the Sorcerer and you are right, it is extremely similar in many ways. However, the similarities end fairly early on, thank goodness. For awhile I was afraid that I had unknowingly plagerized CAS.

Yeah, the drug theme was an odd match up. Of course, it plays a much larger role in your story than in mine.

Congrats on getting published with Darkwalls.com. I saw your story over there and finally Giggler is catching on to what Ron Hanna and myself knew all along.

I thought I'd update my topic for once.

I haven't written anything in English for some time now as I've concentrated my focus on a play (was published in a magazine over here under the silly, silly name of "Tragedy In The Night") and I've been busy trying to get my short story collection "Näiv on jääv" ("The Seeming Is The Remaining") out there, which should appear at the end of the year.

Nevertheless I am determined to return to the shores of Lovecraftia and take the cosmos by storm with a Mythos short story collection.

That's it for now.
