This is only going to lead to a flame war.
I'm not going to make any apology for Islamic or Christian loonies, both sides did bad things, and continue to do them.
I'm not going to make any apology for myself, I stated the facts as I know them, and listened to the other views.
This has nothing to do with Lovecraft, so somebody please lock this thread-I started it for other purposes, and it has wandered into another relm.

can we please move forward without the artificial constraints of thread-locking? i know we can all get along here. this is just a classic example of why religion and politics are shunned topics in polite company... let's just regain some perspective and maybe steer this thread back in the right direction.
