Well I could printout the bible with a home printer and have it out in about a week or so...
But what I want to do is find someone who can print it out and get it bound like a book.
I have some e-mails out now and am waiting for a reply

oh, i see, you're not talking about satan aka lucifer in the judeo-christian tradition. you mean the 'left-hand path' sort of philosophy.. still, that's pretty anthrocentric compared to the supremely boggling indifference of hpl's great old ones.

but i guess that doesn't really matter if all you want is a mascot to frighten the townspeople..

Hell, I could frighten townspeople better than Squiddly. And I don't demand anything soul-related, merely monies.

Post by darrick »

haven't you guys been slavishly devoting yourself to my website as it is prophesized?!? if you had, you surely would have noticed my use of the print on demand service Lulu.com

http://www.lulu.com/content/223100

http://www.lulu.com/browse/book_view.php?fCID=198794

fine looking books and no up-front expense or fulfillment on the author's end. nice.

yeah, so Odin, as Second in command it is your job to make sure this stuff actually happens. any questions are directed towards the website that you are using to print the book off of, or to me. and hurry with our bible. and Darrick, please try and make us a good looking cover design for this bible. we need at least 3 of them in harcover format, and the rest will be in Paperback.

Lovecraftian art

Post by darrick »

3 different books/bibles, each in hardcover or 3 hardcover copies? i assume the latter. the great thing about lulu is that you just upload your document and specifications like cover art and then your book is available on the lulu site. everytime someone wants your book they order it from lulu and lulu makes exactly the number of copies the person bought. so no backstock or fulfillment issues. so you could have hardcover and softcover editions on lulu and just order them for yourself as you need them and let other people order your book as well. really a great system, the books aren't too expensive either. you can choose to add a royalty onto the book as well, although i don't to keep the cost down. (there's even more explanation on the http://www.Lulu.com site)

i've got a bunch of new paintings that i will take digital pics of and email them to you. my artwork is getting better and they're pretty fucking crazy so i think you'll like. i'll photograph them in super large file sizes so they look sharper when transfered to the cover of the book.
