If I had the capabilites, I'd help, but I'm currently lacking in any kind of recording paraphernalia. Plus, I sound too ominous for something that might be heard by kids.

Like I said, I'll be willing to write for it, and to help with the ideas and content, but I've no way of actually recording any parts to use for it. I was thinking of writing in full a fictional tome of my own, for purposes of quoting it in stories (not to use as material itself, but as a reference for my own use). If this thing goes underway, I'll snap to it, and you could throw in a passage here and there as filler.

First off, we need a streaming plan.

I have access to wimpy, which is a pretty badass mp3 streaming application for sites but the thing is a monster to implement on server-side. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I also have unlimited space to host this thing, and bandwidth on my account is now unlimited, so lets get some brainstorms going...

Brainstorming content or implementation?

Well that is a nice player, and since file space and bandwidth are covered, that only leaves some planning.

First, how often would this be done? Just how ever often a new one is made? Or a regular schedule ?

Should there be a structure to each episode ? Like following the same format, such as:

introduction with selected music
brief table of contents description
mythos-talk
featured short story
something else..
...

You get the idea.

People should also be able to download the files for later play (ala pod-casting, which is really big right now).

Perhaps we could feature interviews with some of our featured writers and artists. If they can't be recorded, conduct the interview over MSN or something, and have someone else read their answers. Just an idea.

Ok, I really do want to see this project get moving. I will try to come up with a nice format for it, and make a list of exactly what I need. Then I will get volunteers to record the different things, and send them to me. Then I will put it all together (which I am looking forward to doing very much). :)

He was talking about the idea of conducting interviews over MSN, and then having them read and recorded by someone else, (for when phone interviews are not possible).

Ah, yes. All we need now are people to interview.
