Straight from Japan Sony has recently introduced to the market the Sony KDL-40EX503. This unit has a number of bells and whistles which make good use of the beautiful 40 inch 1920 x 1080 16:9 ratio wide screen high definition liquid crystal display.

This device is light weight, weighing only 14.2 kilograms. It's dimensions are 99.2 x 63.6 x 26.0 without the optional stand. It has two 10 watt digitally amplified Frontal Surround Sound speakers with a number of outputs to add a home entertainment center if so desired.
