Am new to the forums. I couldn't see this posted anywhere; sorry if it was.
Was wondering if anyone here has played Amnesia: The Dark Descent by Frictional Games?
There is a demo out for it which is pretty cool. Also unlike previous games they have released tools for making your own stories and levels and such in the game.
These guys are really heavily influenced by Lovecraft. Most notably the engine is called HPL.
I was wondering what you guys thought? When I have a bit more cash I was going to invest, as I have only played the Demo so far. They idea of being able to use the tools to try and adapt actual Lovecraft stories sounds like it could be a lot of fun
