True Blood is naturally based on the number of novels written by Charlaine Harris, author Arkansas. The series was originally known as the Southern Vampire Mysteries, but has since become known as the Sookie Stackhouse novels. The hypothesis is that Japanese society has succeeded in creating artificial blood, a product such as the real thing as vampires, who spoke earlier feeding people in the dark, “out of the coffin”; and in society, determined to live in fake blood again.
True Blood title comes from the name of the artificial blood, marketed and sold in stores. The television series is not properly prune too close to the novels, but mostly it’ s the story of Sookie. And things like going to the end of the season, it is clear that the third season will be the second novel in true blood, although the action is most likely in Bon Temps, and not Dallas (the second novel is called Living Dead in Dallas).
