Might be more Pirates of the Caribbean, but my gut tells me its Cthulhu inspired! Still pretty cool though.

yea thats pretty cool.

just about everything that has to do with "magic"(the kinds in the D&Dish games/movies/music/boardgames/etc.) have a cthulhuish creature in it.
