New Cthulhu Mythos Book List - Anything Missing?

Post by UndeadAnthology »

Hello everyone,

I’d like to enlist your help on a new project I’m working on. I’ve set up a new web site I’m calling The Ultimate Mythos Book List where I’m listing every printed work set in or using parts of the Cthulhu Mythos that I can find. I’ve currently got a ton of stuff up and am continuing to work.

Here’s where you Mythos experts come in: please take a look at the list and let me know what’s missing. I know that I have left some things out. The list is here:

http://lovecraft.cjb.net

Any feedback is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jacob

That is a great list! I will look through it and see if I have anything that is missing :)

I did get your email and I would be happy to add a link!

For your list of single author works there is one by one of the contributors here:

and Nickolaus Pacione has put out a couple of anthologies too.

Anybody know which ones are specifically Lovecraftian tales?

Thanks,
Jacob

Looking at the publishing dates on those books, it seems like there was a massive explosion in Cthulhu Mythos popularity after 1990. I wonder if that might have been related to the apocalyptic end-of-the-millenium craze during the 90s?

From the little bit of history I've read it seems Lovecraft's own work wasn't widely in print until the '80s. As it started becoming more widely known more and more authors started writing mythos works.
