Lovecraft's grave.

Post by Issac Pilgrim »

Has anyone visited it, I'm saving up to go see it. I live in Melbourne, Australia though, so it will be some time.

i have! it's in a really nice cemetery and i thought it was a lot of fun because while i was there a bunch of other lovecraft enthusiasts came by and so it turned into a kind of weird social function. but you really shouldn't limit your trip to the area just to his grave. look around online there are a bunch of group lovecraft themed tours of the area (ie. checking out lovecraft's various homes, seeing the mansion charles dexter ward is meant to live in). also the swan point cemetery is right next to the hospital that both lovecraft's mother and father were placed in... just sayin'.

I keep wanting to go. I just never seem to be able to find the time to make the drive out there...
