Can anyone think of any tunes or bands with a link to or taking inspiration in some way from the mythos?

I'll start the ball rolling:

"We Are Back" by LFO*. Worth checking out if you like electronic stuff.

A tad facile, maybe but it's just a bit of fun!

*That's Low Frequency Oscillation from Sheffield rather than the rather rubish boyband.
Cheers!

Vegas.

Metallica has two (arguably three) songs about Lovecraftian themes, Call of Ktulu (an instrumental), and Thing That Should Not Be (vague, could be about either Cthulhu or Nyarlathotep). The third is All Nightmare Long, which may or may not be about the Hounds of Tindalos.

Dream Theater has a song called The Dark Eternal Night, which is about Nyarlathotep.

And if metal isn't your thing, there's always The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets, which sing Lovecraftian punk songs. It's as funny as it sounds. XD
