Real Life Cults Of Cthulhu
I've heard stories how in Estonia (and if here then certainly in any other country with the population over at least a million) had a sect of Cthulhu disciples. They had an underground shrine, in an old abandoned military base, and it was said to be linked to an underground submarine base near the sea. But as the soviets cleared out some guys inspired by Lovecraft or Cthulhu moved in and used the passages and rooms for their own purposes. The sect members were said to be homeless people that were hungry which would have explained the animal corpses in there, I mean massive piles of them. The guys are dead now, shot, I think. The police raided it after getting complaints bums hasseling random people near the base. Some did get away and afterwards released a sort of a press release in some new-age cult magazine about how they were attacked by the cops and how a greater force than human law would protect them and whatnot. Anyway there are people who say they were not homeless people but something else communicating with sea creatures.
Its true, Im not making this up. I just have to wonder how far people are willing to go when inspired by strange fiction.

When the Soviet Union fell everyone was stealing everything and cashing out the checks. It was all too shady and mostly everyone who has heard of it says that it was probably a small war over military equipment that costs a lot on the black market. They were probably soviet soldiers who were shot after liberation. In the mess you could get away with it. After I heard there were some satanist/mythos freaks in that region and the incident with the place's access to the sea through tunnels, so I put 1+1 together and either got 1,5 or 2.

Odin: skills like what?
And btw there was a huge storm some time ago in Estonia, the biggest in a hundred years the news said. Anyway, the military base isn't even fifty meters from shore. I imagine the tunnels are flooded now. Should go and check out what was washed up from there.
