Giant Penguins

Post by neonchris »

I seem to remeber giant albino penguins in ...at the mountains of madness. Spotted this at work today and being short of people to show who might be interested thought I might post a link on here... sad eh?... together with "the bloop" penomenon perhaps Mr Lovecraft is turning out a bit of a sci-fi prophet like Jules Verne? I sincerely hope not!!

And just as a footnote, look what kind of lovecraftian nightmares are lurking on my doorstep!... the following link is to my local newspaper's website describing an event that happened only 2 minutes from my house

gather round to hear tell of the ballad of monkey face gene, the guitar playinest chimpanzee ever to die in a bar brawl
A monkey riding a dog is probably the awesomest thing that could ever happen.

It seemed like there should have been a picture with that second story, but I didn't see one.

So that's the story of James Blunt then.......

Jesus, the picture was in the paper but not on the website oddly... you ever read "the dark gods?"... not sure if I mentioned that one before. The authors of that book, follow on from the research and work of John Keel but weave lovecraft into the picture too... pretty interesting...
