I picked up The Gunslinger when it first came out and couldn't get into it. Came across it again about a month ago and couldn't put it down. Great series so far, but It remains my fave King read.odin2 wrote:The 'Dark Tower' books are the best thing mister King ever wrote!!
I have read all seven, and I just got the first comic book.

Just picked up... Graphic Classics Volume 4: H.P. Lovecraft, contains the stories "The Shadow Over Innsmouth", "Dreams in the Witchhouse", "Herbert West: The Reanimator", "The Cats of Ulthar" (perhaps the best artwork in the book!), "The Terrible Old Man", and "The Shadow Out of Time", along with a few other bits Strangeness thrown in... overall some good Lovecraft brought to life in "comic-book" form!
"Into the north window of my chamber glows the Pole Star with uncanny light."

A monkey riding a dog is probably the awesomest thing that could ever happen.

Mid-19th Century: Captain Obed Marsh explores Devil's Reef. Reputedly, he is searching for pirate treasure
pretty cool time-tweaking in this frank miller comic:
robocop vs. terminator
i was kinda surprised to find the whole 4 books viewable online.. don't know if it's authorized or not
