wish i could embed this video on the forum, but i guess the URL address will have to do.

someone sent this as a myspace comment and i loved it. sure, there are a few (uncomfortable at first) parallels to the Cult of Cthulhu, but we shouldn't take ourselves seriously all the time. if you can't laugh at yourself occasionally, then what's the point?!?

some cult aspects are useful, some are not. hopefully, stressing the importance of individuality and autonomy raises us above the usual cult.

how about a cult made only of cult leaders? would that be some kind of super-cult, or would too many chefs ruin the soup?

good question. i don't know for sure, but i assume an organization entirely made up of cult leaders would be unproductive. luckily, the numbers just seem to work out naturally... effective cult leaders are few and far between while cult members are numerous.
