Hello squishies.

Post by Draconis »

Err, I'm not convinced this is the right place for me to introduce myself, but.. err, anyway, hello. I've recently found this place through the expansion of my search-net as ragards mythos matters, and I have to say it seems to be just the ticket for helping in my scholarship of all things vile, tenebrous, tentacle-faced and adorable. ^.^

Pleased to meet y'all.

On another note.. I've not gone through the various writings here but I'm specifically keen on finding pro-cthulhu material, if you know what I mean. Stuff that takes a rather more complimentary view of Big Squishy. Thoughts, anyone?

Good morning. Welcome to the Temple of Dagon.
Big Squishy? I know one of our members, Darrick, recently finished a Cthulhu Cult bible, if that's the kind of thing you mean.

Indeed, its just the sort of things I mean.. I notice it seems to have garnered mroe than a little controversy as regards its origins? Hm. Still, it is of distinct interest! Works from the cultist perspective are what I'm looking for at the moment. I have always had a peculiar inclination toward well.. giving the ancient monstrous things the benefit of the doubt, shall we say.

Anyway, thankyou for your kind welcome :)

Hee! 'fraid not. I'm from the middle of boring middle-class England. I live in Aberdeen, Scotland now, though.

I just tend to pick up bits of dialect and suchlike from all over. Just be careful when I veer into doric and start saying things like 'fit like min?' and 'aye min ah dinnae ken.'

^.^
