Does anyone remember a dozen years or so back there was an anthology type comic book with a terrific black and white adaptation of the story "The Outsider"? Does anyone know the who what where on this?

That looks awesome, but I don't think that was it... it was a full panel piece with just snippets of the original text.

I remember another strip in that same issue of the magazine called "Weirdbeard" about a lumberjack with an alien in his beard that eats people.

Many of the stories in the book I showed are trimmed down versions, but yes it must be something else.

Weirdbeard sounds quite interesting though
