On the assumption that all the votes are in, EE and JP will advance to the final. This was previously slated to be written from an alien point of view with a word limit of 3000 words.

If there are no objections, I'll assume that there will be about 2 weeks for the writing, with the deadline set for the 24th. If either of you prefer it a little earlier or later, let me know.
