Earlier this month, Nike Sportswear dropped one of its best Air Max 95s in recent memory, dressing the classic mid-’90s runner in a combination of granite, black, and white. Now, just a few short days later, the Swoosh has followed it up with a trio of clean Ultra takes on the silhouette. Coupling Nike’s modern Ultra construction with a streamlined version of the AM95′s signature upper, the kicks come in black, “Gym Red,” and “Binary Blue” colorways, each of which dons a Nike Air Max Classic BW Womens monochromatic upper with white hits to the branding and Max Air-cushioned sole unit.
Today, we take a first look at Adidas Superstar Damen Schwarz a few upcoming Air Max 2017 colorways, which each one of them are completed with a full length Air Max cushioned sole. The upper sports a ripple texture, while the build of the shoe takes on a full Engineered Mesh construction that’s commonly seen on recent Air Max silhouettes.
Beating the drum at the front of the Air Max procession is the long-awaited Nike Air VaporMax. Set to drop on March 26, the Air VaporMax features a flexible Flyknit upper on top of a radically reinvented Air cushioning system. Other stand out silhouettes include the Women's Nike Air Max Jewell dropping on March 8 and the Nike Air Max 90 Ultra Flyknit, scheduled for a March 2 arrival. Reinvented but always recognisable. Air Max Day just turned into Asics Gel Quantum 360 Femme Air Max Month.
With Air Max Day coming up next month, images of the Nike Air Max 1 ‘Master’ have surfaced today. The Adidas ZX Flux Dames Zwart sneaker is a mash-up of the greatest Air Max 1 hits onto one shoe. The colourway is linked to the Masters of Air, the passionate Air Max collectors featured in a short Nike documentary that was released this time last year to celebrate Air Max Day 2016.
Exhibiting premium black leather, the sneaker has perforated panels along the toe, quarter and collar. The focal point is directed at the mudguard – composed of swatches from classic Air Max releases, including he OG Red, Safari, Patta and Viotech colourways. Featuring the signature perforations from the Kid Robot x Air Max 1 upper on the sneakers upper Adidas ZX Flux Dam and of course a mosaic of patterns and colours of the greatest hits of the iconic Tinker Hatfield.
An alternate Nike Air Max 95 Femme version of the sneaker has also surfaced; this time the black leather upper is replaced by a competing white! There is no Nike Cortez Dames word as of yet of the release of the alternate Air Max 1 as it is rumored to be Friends and Family release, stay tuned for updates!
