DC loses founder Malcolm Young to illness

Ending days of speculation about the demise of one of rock and roll's biggest bands, AC/DC announced Wednesday that Malcolm Young Nike Air Max 90 is seriously ill and "taking a break" but that the group would continue to make music. It was bittersweet news to fans around the world, including here in San Diego where Padres closer Trevor Hoffman's entrance music was Hells Bells for so many years.

News reports out of Australia this week dealt vaguely with the possibility that the band, which Young founded with his brother, Angus, in 1973, would break up. One commentator said a "sad detail" may mean "we may not hear them perform or record ever again." As rumors mounted, the band broke its silence on its website and Facebook page.

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph before the statement was released, singer Brian Johnson Nike Air Max 2017 shot down talk of the band Nike Air Max Black Friday shutting down.

"We are definitely getting together in May in Vancouver," he said. "We're going to pick up some guitars, have a plonk, and see if anybody has got any tunes or ideas. If anything happens, we'll record it."

Without going into specifics about his friend and band mate, he added: "One of the boys has a debilitating illness, but I don't want to say too much about it. He is very proud and private, a Nike Air Max 90 wonderful chap. We've been pals for 35 years and I look up to him very much.

The outpouring of support for Young was immediate, as was the earlier disappointment that the band might break up.
