It is a pity. But I doubt his work would ever have become so famous within his lifetime even if he was alive today. It was the race to publish it inspired by his death that proliferated it.

At my local Barnes and Noble!!
The lady at the regester said, it was on sale because someone order it and decide they didn't want it!!
She said they normally do that to the books that people order and others don't buy.
She said the book isn't very popular.
