Battlefield and The Sims
Rousseff immediately blamed the previous ruling party for the oil firm’s bad behavior. She said the corruption began during the Social Democratic government of Fernando Henrique Cardoso back in the 1990s. “If in 1996 and 1997 there were investigations, and if we had, in that moment, punished people involved, we wouldn’t have these cases of corruption that have been in practice now for 10, going on 20 years,” she said publicly after the news broke of the charges. “It’s not that there was never corruption at Petrobras. It’s that it was never looked into,” she said. Rousseff’s hand wasforced to investigate Petrobras following a massive Federal Police investigation. That secret operation, known as Operation Jet Wash, exploded ontothe public stage last year like a new British pop star. The investigation nearly cost Rousseff her chance at re-election. On the bright side, Rousseff is making history, even if she has little choice. The fact that theFederal Police are aggressivelyinvestigating FIFA Coins the most powerful corporate entity in Brazil is as historic as Petrobras’ crime. That might be good news for political transparency. But in the short term, these investigations are not good for Petrobras shareholders and value hungry investors need to think long term. Bad news could easily send the stock below its current support level of roughly $6. At this point, PBR will continue to sink and stink unlessex-banker Bendine can give this beast the kind of jet washing it truly deserves.Watch It Now: Electronic Arts E3 Preview.
