The line of about 300 multi denominational Christians snaked from Treaty Oak Park on Jacksonville's Southbank across the Main Street Bridge and into the heart of downtown hoping to send a message of belief into the city Saturday morning.
"God Belongs in Our City" was the slogan on the T shirts as members of 18 different churches in the Jacksonville area took part in the prayer walk. It was the fifth annual event in Jacksonville that's part of a larger national movement that began in 2009 and spread to about 80 cities across America.
