More Nike Air Max “Patch” renditions are headed to retailers in the near future. We’ve already seen the classic ‘Neon’ colorway of the nike free 5.0 get the velco-laden treatment as well as hints that the Nike Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’ would be transformed too. Here we see the Nike Air Max 1 added to the mix, although it ditches the more iconic stylings of the OG Red or Royal pairs for a more patriotic theme. Which look are you feeling most? Stay tuned for more release date updates in the coming days and let us know your favorite ‘Patch’ aesthetic in the comments, and expect these at select Nike Sportswear retailers soon.
Nike’s need to reinvent their flagship nike free trainer 3.0 model has left us with some interesting looks for 2015. Besides the ‘Patch’ installment for Air Max Day, the Swoosh has continued to get creative with the Ultra Moire “Iridescent” and has given us previews of the newly constructed adidas zx flux Woven. The shoe flawlessly blends the classic silhouette with an interwoven leather panel on the toebox and heel for a touch of lifestyle sensibilities. So far, only monochromatic uppers have appeared like this “Shale” look that rivals the Air Trainer 3 from late last year. Cop these at NSW retailers like Center 214 in the coming weeks.
If you thought that by now that Nike wouldn’t be trying to capitalize off the popularity of the Nike Air Yeezy 2, think again. We’re not sure why Nike Sportswear keeps dropping Yeezy-esque colorways under the ‘FB’ (football) imprint—just think the Nike Roshe Run FB “Yeezy”—but here’s an all-new nike free 5.0 v4 with a familiar color scheme. The official colorway calls for a blend of Wolf Grey and Liquid Lime, but are they really fooling anybody? No matter what the inspiration, you have to admit it’s still a pretty hot colorway. Look for them soon at select Nike Sportswear retailers in the US.
