HPL's Birthday Sun. 8/20/06 Anyone goin to Providence RI?

Post by Erich Zann »

I usually head down to Providence on HPL's birthday. Just to check out some of the book stores (there are some cool ones right on Angell St. an all -Myopic Books etc.), have lunch, visit his grave, walk around some of his favorite walking sites, and sometimes hit Brown's University and read some of his letters. Providence is a pretty cool little city actually.

If anyone's gonna be in the area and wants to hang out for an HPL B-day just let me know. My girlfriend and I will be down there anyway.

I would but I'm going to be on Cape Cod for 2 weeks starting that day. I've been planning on going sometime before the summers up though. I'll just poor a little rum on the sand to honor him, like JJ suggested.

You know, HPL didn't drink. Maybe you should pour coffee. Tea? Milk?

Bad quality picture. I take mine with milk, 3-4 spoons of sugar and a dash of JD, when I have it.

it wouldn't be very gangsta to pour tea.. you can compromise by carrying it in an olde english malt liquor bottle

I was about to go with one of my bestfriends tomorrow, but then she decided that she didnt want to visit the grave of "some guy she doesn't care about." So now I'm not going, and I'm depressed about it. I'll have to go by myself.

I stopped being depressed, now I'm really pissed off. My cousins told me I should bitch slap her. However, she had a septum ring sent to my house, which I now have, and I think a better revenge would just be to with hold it from her for a while.
