No problem. What would you like your username to be?

I guessed as much about the chess set, so it was a half-joke ;) I just love chess sets, and the mythos is the best subject for almost anything heh.

The busts I put up on eBay periodically, they usually sell for about $125 apiece. I am planning to list one this Sunday actually.

The chess set will be more steep, since it involves so much work; there are 32 pieces to cast, clean, detail and paint by hand for each set. In addition, the Cthulhu (King) pieces have lab-created ruby eyes for the white, and genuine saltwater pearl eyes for the black. On a side note, it's hard to find perfectly sherical rubies out there, I had to go through a laboratory supply catalog. They use them in analysis equipment.
Anyway, I think the chess sets will be priced at right around $1,000, maybe a bit more or less depending on what the market will bear. I can't afford to charge a lot less than that just based on how much time they take for me to create.

ROFL! :P

(I thought it was weird too the first time I saw the very end of Doom II and looked behind the wall :P )

Kent: I am going to have to get people to start doing some serious donations to the site ;)

I actually play the Call of Cthulhu CCG, in fact it's a pretty good game.

On the topic of oddities, I am next planning to make Cthulhu switchplate covers...

What's a switchplate?

You know what someone should make? Mythos-inspired card sleeves for games like Call of Cthulhu and Magic: The Gathering.
