The next public screening for Read Me A Story has been confirmed!

It will play at the BlueNovember MicroFilmFestival Stage III (http://www.blue-november.com/) in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 5th. Aaron Vanek's "Return to Innsmouth" will also screen...

Unfilmable Films presents: Read Me A Story

"It is not likely that any really finely wrought weird story - where so much depends upon mood, and on nuances of description - could be changed to a drama without irreparable cheapening and the loss of all that gave it power."

Received a phone call last night confirming that Read Me A Story will also screen in Los Angeles at Creepfest 2005. The screening will take place on October 29th. I think Lovecraft would approve. :)

Just received word that Read Me A Story will indeed screen in Stockholm, Sweden at the MiskatoniCon (http://www.miskatonicon.com/)! I'm very excited that my first short will be screening in Europe!

It looks to be in very good company as well...

That's good to go! What kind of feedback have you been getting?

Feedback has been mixed...

Filmmakers seem to like it, and non-filmmakers seem to think it is rather simple and maybe a little boring. I actually thought the reaction would be the opposite...

Film Festival judges, for whatever reason, see to enjoy it! :)

During Patti Smith's live performance (at the HPLFF), she singled out my short as the best of the fest. Alas, I was not there to see it...

I have some review excerpts on my Read Me A Story news page: http://www.unfilmable.com/storynews.html

I hope to have copies to pass out at some point...
