It can be . . . I'm looking forward to this year's (can't wait to see Craig's movie!), but the organization of the festival always seems so slapdash and clique-ish. There's no evident desire to grow, so the festival (outside of a website redesign that really shares even less content than the previous version) stagnates a bit.

But I'll be there, man . . . I'm looking forward most to seeing friends and watching the short films . . . !

(I'll also be covering the festival on a nightly basis at my website - http://brother_d.blogspot.com - with some potential cross-posting over at Geek in the City (http://www.geekinthecity.com) . . . )

Wait, while I'm here - what's this "vps.templeofdagon.com" stuff in your sig, man?

It is my web server (a VPS). It runs all of my web sites including this one.

My sig displays the real-time server load and uptime. :)

Hello all,

Sorry for not checking in more often...

I will be at the HPLFF and my short film (Read Me A Story) will also be there!

Here's the new website for Read Me A Story: http://www.unfilmable.com/readmeastory.html

And some stills from the film: http://www.unfilmable.com/storyimagery.html

Can't wait!

Unfilmable Films presents: Read Me A Story

"It is not likely that any really finely wrought weird story - where so much depends upon mood, and on nuances of description - could be changed to a drama without irreparable cheapening and the loss of all that gave it power."

Thanks Bother D!

Hope it doesn't turn out to be a boring 7 minutes for you, and an embarrassing 7 minutes for me! :)

I tried is all I can say!

Craig, I am going to slap some sense into you this weekend! I have had the pleasure of seeing "Read me a story" already, and I can confirm that it is a blast! Well written, well shot, well done. Looking forward to seeing it(and Craig and Uncle Rick) in a few short days!

E.A. Lovecraft,

An interview would be very cool!

Take care,

Craig
