Even though Lovecraft is known by many, it is still unfortunate that more do not know of him or his work (or at least do not know how many things came from his work that they see all the time).

It is always great to see a mention of him in larger publications!

I'm pretty certain he will be hailed and reckognized as a major philosopher in the future. I mean he is kind of known now but in the future he will be more widely explored, especially his envisionment of the nature of the Cosmos. He truly was a prophet 8)
