Here's your chance to see Lovecraft on the big screen (if you happen to live in Oklahoma or New Mexico, that is...).

For Immediate Release:

The Blue November Film Festival in Tulsa, Oklahoma (my new stomping grounds!) will have a rare screening of Aaron Vanek's "The Yellow Sign" (inspired by R.W. Chambers story The King in Yellow). The festival runs November 19-20, with TYS screening to take place on the 20th. The film will play at the historic (and formerly adult) Circle Theater in Tulsa between noon and 3 pm.

Circle Theater
10 South Lewis
Tulsa, Oklahoma
918-592-FILM(3456)

Also showing is Giovanni Furore's adaptation of "Pickman's Model" (previously seen at the 10th Annual H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival). It will screen on the 19th at the Oklahoma State University auditorium between 7 and 10pm. The film will be shown in Italian without subtitles!

Oklahoma State University (OSU-Tulsa)
700 N. Greenwood
918-594-8000

I would like to extend my thanks to all of you who submitted films to this festival at my request. Also, if you are in attendance and see me (just look for the Unfilmable.com t-shirt), please stop by and say hi...

(Thanks to Captain Chambers)

I attended the Pickman's Model and Yellow Sign screenings (in Tulsa). I had seen them before, but there's nothing like seeing a film on the big screen. It was however, the first time I had seen Pickman's Model without subtitles. Just the original Italian language track!

Great stuff!

Odin2,

Wow, someone else from Oklahoma! :)

Where exactly do you live? The reason I'm asking is because I'll be filming my own Lovecraftian short film soon (most likely in Muskogee), and was wondering if you'd be interested in a set visit. I want to share the experience with as many Lovecraft fans as possible...

Look forward to hearing from you!

Take care,

Craig

Anywhere near Glenpool?

Were looking at a couple of bed and breakfasts at the moment. Not sure where they are (I'm still not familiar with the area), but I'll keep you posted!
