I don't get how you play, wheres the game?
i'm not a player but i understand you have to run a client program on your computer. it's a text-based rpg i guess. look at this thread for more clues

The game plays on telnet, which is like a super old-school version of the internet. It is free on windows-if you have a mac, reply in a post and maybe someone else will know.
To play, go to the "Start" menu on the windows desktop. Click the "Run" button, which will bring up a command prompt. Enter the following exactly:
TELNET CTHULHUMUD.COM 8889
It will take you to the game. CthulhuMUD is entirely text-based, so it is a bit hard to use-but it is alos really, really hardcore. You might have to hit enter a few times.
