Possible site redesign and position openings

Post by Aleister »

I have been thinking about revamping the site. Anyone want to throw in their input? :)

Also, as mentioned in another post, I think the idea of having a 'mythos news' category on the main index is a great idea. For posts related to real life mythos-type stuff.

The only question is, would anyone out there want the job? It would mean you would get an account setup on the main site which you could log into and post the entries. The main site is powered by WordPress. If you are not familiar with it, it is very easy to add posts using the admin interface.

If anyone would be interested in helping please let me know :)

I'd volunteer but I suck at finding the news and stuff that would go up.

I will certainly consider more than one person for it as well.

There would not be any set policies as far as 'you must have X posts every hour!' or anything. It could just be one of those 'if you find something interesting, post it' type things.

I like the site design as is. I'd volunteer but I probably haven't been here long enough to qualify. However if we know who is the Mythos news person I can send them info. Cryptozoology is a bit of a hobby for me.

Get the guy from BloopWatch.org to post the news. He's already been doing the same thing on his own site for years.

Bullshit, noone else here has lived for 2000 years other than me, Nor has any experience in creating connections to things that make no sense to other things that make no sense. Plus, noone else here has been writing up how everything came to be in the Mythos world. Noone knows more than me, and ive been needing to make a comeback here. Besides, you owe me for not putting the COC back up yet.

Thirded, if he's up for it. I also propose putting all his links into the links section, and subdividing it - sections, rather than a page of links.
