Wonderland?

Post by Secret3 »

I know Lewis Carol isn't H. P. Lovecraft, but I think this painting has a very Lovecraftian feel to it. There are lots of details that aren't visible in this photograph- the cost of using pearlescent pigments is that they don't photograph well. If you check out the auction it shows more of these important details. I'd love to hear what you guys think of it!

Title: Advice From a Caterpillar
Medium: Acrylic and Oil pastel on stretched canvas
Size: 16 x 20 inches

very cool, but the long skinny arms make it less caterpillar-like in my opinion. great colors though. i could totally paste this to my ceiling next to a black light
A monkey riding a dog is probably the awesomest thing that could ever happen.

No, that would be the arms. The fingers should be a dead giveaway.
