I don't know . . . a variety of voices could be cool, too.
For instance, I've heard Poe's "The Raven" read many times, often with the cool deep voice. Always interesting to hear different people's take on a classic.
About a month ago, however, I heard somebody from the South, who does not have a deep voice, recite a portion of "The Raven" from memory. I was blown away. The voice wasn't sinister, but it was fresh and full of character and absolutely spellbinding.

I really don't see any advantage of truely live, since there will not be people phoning in or anything. It might lead to scheduling problems to.
I don't see a problem with recorded. It allows for better editing.

We need a radio ad insertion from a creepy source which states:
"dagon has your ear, and the temple is chanting for your soul" or something along those lines

Actually I just received an email from Lagwolf (Andrew).
He has recorded some promos for Dagon Radio, and he offered to do a test run and record a short story. I will check out the promos after work today and post again.
I think the main thing that really needs to be done is to choose someone to be the manager (so to speak) of this project. I will do it as long as you all want. Or if someone wants to volunteer that will be fine too.
Basically just someone to coordinate things. Let me know! It will help things move much faster I think.
