How can we make the site even better?

Post by Aleister »

I think it is about time to start expanding the site a bit.

Perhaps adding in some new sections.

For example, I had completely forgotten that I had setup a chat room for the site. I suppose it did not help that there was no link to it on the main page :) Anyone think it might be useful to keep?

As always, I am eager to hear suggestions/ideas for the site!

Perhaps a section for stories by Lovecraft?

At one point I had a large collection of his work online, but I have since come to an agreement with Arkham House to not display the work, as it is technically owned by them.

Copyright law is complicated. :)

The way I see it too, is that I want to see Lovecraft stay in print. Suporting the publishers is a great way :)

Is the Arkham House website still up? I've tried to find it online twice but it seems to be down.

Feature articles and rants\opinions would be a lot of fun. Some good speculative Lovecraft-related reading material would be highly appreciated.

A section for pictures of Lovecraft.

Are his letters property of Arkham House also? If not you could put up a section for those.

We need some more non-mythos stuff. Or stuff about links between the mythos and non-mythos stuff. Like "The Lorax".

We need the Unholy Hottub Project!!!!!!!11

It's about a hottub every board member gives money for Aleister to buy. Then Aleister fills it with pudding of his/her choice and takes a pic of himself with THE best Cthulhu impression in it. Then he ships the tub 'o' pudding to another member and so on. In the end we'll have tons of scary mythos pictures OH YEAH IN THE HOTTUB!
