How often do localized pages actually get hit?

I asked this question some time ago (pre-kitsune age of time) , but then it was busy time, not right now, try later etc. I understood and I still understand. And I am still curious.

I confess I tried to sneak the ga.js wrapper into the top sl page on kb and of course was not successful, as the questionable piece of code got a big (enough) x over it - read it if you will as: we're not that stupid.

Here's the question: how much is SUMO weekly metrics to be trusted? Does it just happen to work after all the changes or was it brought over intentionally to provide a reliable, even if not a complete picture?

And, a supplementary question: google analytics is do-no-evil-ware, so why not - one way or another - allow its use.
